HOW TO USE LYSOBIER®:


  1. Collect the following items to prepare the solution:
    • I. A plastic or stainless steel beaker or bucket to preferably equipped with a handle and pouring beak, volume indication, and with round smooth edges and no dead corners.
    • II. Large beaker to measure and pour the water from
    • III. A scale to weigh the required amount of LYSOBIER®
    • IV. A flexible plastic whisk or stirrer

  2. Determine the amount of LYSOBIER® you need to add to your process, using the dosage table (see below)
  3. Gently scoop the LYSOBIER® from its packaging and weigh it accurately until you have the required amount
  4. Prepare a quantity of fresh water equal to ten times the weight of the LYSOBIER® prepared in the previous step. Use clean, warm water (between 20 and 30 oC);
  5. Gently add the water to the LYSOBIER® (not the reverse); avoid splashing. Gently stir the solution for about 2 minutes to allow the LYSOBIER® to disperse well through the water. Avoid dust or foam formation at this stage, whisk the dispersion firmly for about 2 minutes until the LYSOBIER® is completely dissolved;
  6. Let the solution settle for another 2 minutes. The resulting solution will be clear to slightly opaque (the opaque color is caused by small air-bubble, which will disappear over time) and may still have some remaining foam;
  7. Add the full solution to the beer process at the desired step, including any remaining foam. It can be added into the yeast culture, the beer during fermentation or to the finished beer.
